October 23-28 we enjoyed a visit from my Mom and Dad who flew down from Portland. Since Fresno doesn't have many great flight options, they flew from Portland to Sacramento, took a bus, then a train all to get to Fresno to see their grandson! Now that's what I call determined! During their short stay, Mom, Dad, Carter and I headed to my hometown of Claremont for the weekend. Carter got to meet very dear friends Phil and Gloria Holcomb and Edra, Howard and Tim Young as well as my girlfriend Kim and her son Luke and the entire Damuth family! Carter also met my friend Michelle Goodwin (Morales). What a lucky boy! Carter is a great traveler. Even though he was teething and way too stimulated to sleep or nap (sigh!) he was a jewel.
