New Family Pictures

Here is Carter's 8 month photo. At 8, nearly 9 months, Carter has mastered the "army crawl" and is finally getting the hang of this sleep thing. After just a few nights of a little crying, he finally slept through the night last night without waking from 8pm to 5:45am! That's right...Carter did not wake even one time during that nearly 10 hour stretch. He woke up hungry and soaked :( so we did a quick wardrobe change, ate and then slept another 2 hours. Woo hoo! For all you mothers who are cursing us for this lovely nights sleep, not too fast! This is the very first nights rest I've gotten since before Carter was born and a very big change from his usual 6-8+ wakings per night. We deserve it! :) Now we're working on naps and he is getting the hang of those too with just a little crying yesterday and not so much today! Carter is a very quick learner, thank goodness!
