September was full of exciting activities for Carter.
We took a trip to the Bay Area to visit our Noah's family in Walnut Creek and also enjoyed a fun visit with Nana and Papa in Dixon. This was our first road trip without Daddy and Carter couldn't have been better! He slept the entire ride and woke up right as we pulled up to Nana and Papa's house! This was also my first time back at the Noah's Bagels Support Center since before Carter was born - in fact, it had been nearly a whole year! During this time the office moved across town to a great new building and I was excited to see their new "digs" and visit with Brad, Gretchen and Debbie. Carter also enjoyed meeting the Noah's team. Hopefully we won't let as much time pass between visits next time!
While at Nana and Papa's Carter enjoyed playing with his cousin Elysia. She was very good with Carter and shared her toys!
Carter also enjoyed picking a very large zucchini from the garden with Papa and Elysia.
Carter also got to meet his Aunt Julie for the first time. Aunt Julie tried so many times to meet him - in fact, she was in Fresno while he was being born! We also saw Great Grandma and Aunt Korie too! What a fun trip!
Later this month we enjoyed a special visit from the Bulin Family. Tracy, Amy and Cooper came down from the Sacramento area for the Wisconsin/Fresno State football game. It was a great excuse for a visit and Carter and Cooper had a great time together.
We all enjoyed tailgating before the game and then Amy, Cooper, Carter and I headed home to have some much needed "girl" talk and Ryan and Tracy enjoyed the game. Of course, it would have been better if Fresno State had won but it was a close game!! The weekend went by way too fast and we were sad to see the Bulins head home. Hopefully we can get together again very soon!
