Ryan is out of town for work this week and so Great Grandma (G.G) took the train down from Davis to spend the week with Mom and Carter. She is great company for me and Carter just loves her! We are so lucky to have her come visit us.
It has been exceptionally warm here in Fresno with temperatures in the triple digits for 6 days in a row and 112 just yesterday. In addition, the air quality is categorized "very unhealthy" with fires in the area and the usual smog and heat to boot and so everyone is encouraged to stay indoors.
Carter has been having trouble sleeping for the past month and this past week he has started waking every hour (or less) overnight. I think it may have to do with weaning him from his medication and meanwhile, Mom is VERY VERY tired! No matter how tired I am from lack of sleep, I can't help but feel happy in the morning when I wake up to Carter's smiling face.

Carter looks SO HAPPY in all his photos. Wow is he ever lucky to have such loving great grandma and grandparents to watch him grow! By the way, Carter is doing that way too quickly! LOL to all.
